They usually practice during the weekdays, IIRC.

For a date night, make reservations at The Grand Marlin. If the weather is nice, request a table outside over the water.

Oh yeah. That's the one behind the museum? That museum is one of the best air museums in the nation. Great stuff!
Now I am getting the itch to go back...

Man, I bet they loved that. Met the Blues and got a look at their A/C when we were stationed at NAS Pax River a few years ago. In fact, my wife is a USN nurse and was a dept head at the clinic there when a couple of them came in for something minor (over the weekend)...each duty person got a Blues coin.
I have got a bunch of pics from Pensacola somewhere...just gotta find them.

I live in the 'cola so here goes:
On the beach there is a "Landshark" bar right next to the Margaritaville hotel. Normally that would sound like a touristy nightmare but the place is actually really awesome and usually not busy at all.
McGuire's is a place ya gotta eat at at least once.
As for food on the island, I'd avoid the places on the boardwalk IMO (Hemingway's, Flounders) and Crab's as well. Very mediocre food for the price. The Grand Marlin is probably the best seafood place, although it's pretty pricy. Peg Leg Pete's and Sideline's on the island are pretty decent for cheaper places.
Really, though, I'd recommend sticking to the mainland for dinner. Tons of great places downtown to eat like Dharma Blue, Hub Stacey's, The Tin Cow, Global Grill (probs need a reservation for this one), Five Sisters Blues Cafe. Lots of cool bars downtown too like Hopjacks, 5 and a Half, O'Reilly's, World of Beer.

Don't blame you. We have been fortunate enough to see them at every duty station with the exception of this one, which is our last. But, they are coming to Jax in OCT so a trip may be in the making... Or wait until they come back to MCAS Beaufort. Absolutely love watching the Blues. Had a friend at Pax who was a former crew member (enlisted) who gave me the informal tour. I tried to weasel a ride but they weren't having it.

Stop at Joe Pattis and get some good fish and shrimp and just cook at the condo or house. We normally do that. Anything you'll make will be much better than what you'll get at a restaurant, and you'll save a ton of money over all the over priced seafood. We either went to hemmingways or the grand marlin one time and the fish of the day was tilapia. For $25.95.
