There is no way in the world they can do the book justice. If the movie even comes reasonably close I will be pleased.

I have a feeling what will get cut the most will be his post war experiences.
There is simply no way to put the amount of detail in the movie that was in the book, and I understand. I refuse to be the guy who ever says the "book is so much better than the movie" because that's obvious.
I will see the movie and enjoy it for what it is, an entertaining showcase of the greatest story I have ever heard.
