Well, it's just funny to me to see Bill Plaschke's pipe-dream go national (with so many outside the Pac-12 jumping on the UCLA bandwagon...as if they know two-cents about UCLA)

I guess being on around the horn and whatnot...Bill's title favorites are now a national favorite and a favorite on the MSB - because they whipped VaTech in a crappy bowl game and Hundley is coming back (as if leaving was ever a reality)...and that's all anyone knows who is posting in this thread about UCLA being Top 4.

Dude, still can't throw on target.

But whatever, UCLA sure has the same pedigree of USC for everyone to give them the benefit of the doubt...expect greatness from UCLA, maybe they will win a Rose Bowl before 50 years is up.

I believe that quote was after UCLA had beaten USC again, the series record of 8 straight times, in the 90s when you guys weren't all that. Plaschke was writing his usual drivel to incise readers. During the 00's the paper was all USC, it's LA they go with the current winner.

Stop getting your panties in a knot, it's a preseason poll, and we all know how that shapes up at the end of the season.

Hundley had some issues last year, part of that was him, part of that was the lack of a running game due to all of our RBs being injured, and part of that was because he was playing behind three true/rs freshman lineman for most of the season. You are just being dishonest if you doubt his ability to throw and be a Heisman quality QB. As for him leaving early, look who was drafted in the first round, you doubt he would have been a first rounder?

Anyways, I look forward to UCLA making it three in a row.
