USC earned their hype on the field by winning 7 straight conference titles and going on a 34-win streak last decade and two titles and two Heismans.
UCLA hasn't done shite...and didn't do shite last decade...and still the LA Times promotes them and gave them all the praise in the world if they could just hang with the Trojans in a game. It would be like praising Oklahoma for losing 55-16.
USC earned all their media coverage and then some...LA Times has an agenda with the Bruins.
