Correct. But once every couple years we get one that just won't react and we've got to do what we've got to do. It's not often, and I hope it stays that way.

Those are the ones that you access and there is no necrosis or infection whatsoever. Just a blood bath. Usually in the ones that will react, you access and there is no coronal pulp and/or there is tissue in 2 canals but the 3rd is necrotic... You can tell that tissue is on its way out due to no blood flow, etc.

Yeah, you will get some out of the blue that unexpectedly won't get numb for shite. And usually in the middle of those I'd be saying to myself, "Frick this, I'm never doing another root canal as long as I live."
