You have avoided a couple things, which was expected. I have the answers I needed. No point in discussing anything with you.

This is hilarious coming from you - you've never addressed a single factual point I've asserted in any thread. You did this in the immigration thread and you've done it here. I think you know very little about very little and you simply deflect with your nonsensical "questions".

Because the Palestinians never praise violence, right?

I never said that...I'm positive that they do... would you excuse them of it by noting that the Israelis have done terrible things to them?

Hamas is a terrible, murderous organization. We shouldn't do business with them and we shouldn't do business with the Israeli government. This conflict is being conducted by terrible, terrible people and we should disengage from it. It does nothing but hurt us.

Oh, that's right, he has the Grand Plan.

Yes, He does. Much better than any man could devise or implement.
What kind of moron would worshhip a Grand Plan he knows nothing about?

Well, I'm sure he doesn't give two bible thumps about my opinion, but anyone/thing/being who could allow human beings to treat other human beings like this and idly stand by is not someone/thing/being I would give the time of day to much less hand my life over for.

In your finite understanding of the universe, you assume that He is doing nothing.
And yet, in your finite understanding of the universe, you know there's a someone/thing/being, and that he has some Grand Plan.

I would recommend that you not speak lightly of that which you do not fully understand.
We're dumbed-down human beings. We know next to nothing about anything. To think we do, or to think some invisible being has our back is beyond ridiculous.

I know that there is a God of this universe. And that despite what we believe, He is in complete control. That He loves us and sent His Son to redeem us. A much more comforting point of view than that which you take.

Well, sure, if comfort is your goal, then I choose to worship Sofia Vergara....on her knees.

Hey, I kinda like this worship stuff.

It's either the elites or big brother...but somebody has to be at the controls...randomness is scary.

Gaza children should blame their parents on this, for being rabid terrorists.

So, killing kids is ok?

I trust no man. But I love and trust the Son of Man. The One who gave His life for my sin.

I am glad that I amuse you Burt.

But I stand by what I said. Enjoy your bloodbath and hatred. I will trust in the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me. You can trust in whomever you do (or don't) trust in.

Like most Americans, you trust in a myth. It's easy to see, then, how you would fall for other fabrications - like Vietnam and 9/11.

That's the danger of believing everything you're told.

I believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. You can believe He is a myth all you would like. That is your choice. I will continue to trust Him.

Enjoy your anger, hatred and misery.

I'm on the same side as you in this debacle but using Christianity as the reason for being on that side is dumb.

Jesus Christ would be against the IDF bombing of Gaza and would most certainly be a bleeding heart socialist liberal.

Jesus Christ would be for peace. And reconciliation between God and man.

Because it's comfortable to do so. The same reason people choose to believe the 9/11 myth. It's more comfortable to do so.

Sorry, but sometimes truth isn't comfortable. Oftentimes, in fact, when you talk about politics.

But, as they say, ignorance is bliss.

Enjoy your bliss.

If you would care to look at my posts, I have made it clear time and time again throughout this thread that I am against the bloodshed in Gaza. I am on no side. The only reason we began this particular sidebar discussion was because TX Tiger made a comment about my praying for peace.
