I've been puzzled with the design of the TAF building from the start. Even if it were a stand-alone building, what is the reasoning of designing a building where there is only one side of it that has windows, and the side with windows is the smallest and least visible. Honestly, it looks like a fricking prison. IIRC part of that building is a cargo elevator, but surely it isn't so wide that the entire facade needed to be without windows. Surely the could have, at minimum, designed it in a way that wasn't just flat concrete. It's just amazing that the people in charge actually approve things like this and don't see how horrible it looks. There are other windowless corporate buildings that don't look that bad. For instance:
AT&T Building in NYC

Verizon Building in Roanoke, VA

US Bank in Arizona



Let's also not forget that the went in a completely different direction from the original rendering that was a complete glass structure

Isn't that just elevator lobbies for the premium seats? Didn't think it was it was going to house offices all up and down there.
