We bought in Uptown. We looked at Lakeview when we were shopping around and I was very impressed. That strip down Harrison had a very upscale (read: Not Louisiana) feel to it. Eventually, because we're city people we chose Uptown because it had a bit more city feel to it and was not as "new". Being new isn't a bad thing though.
