I don't see it that way. I think they would if they could and have the desire to.
I would rather take them on now then chance a homeland attack.

We are talking about ISIS/ISIL.

Really?
You think I'm serious?
Just don't reply then.
I take this shite very seriously. Get off of your high horse for a minute. It's only a matter of time, with the open flow coming in our borders that something happens here. I've said that numerous times.
And I'm just going to stop here.

Yes but your reasoning and justification was simply "they issued an open threat." What makes their threat so much more important than the threats we get every day that we never even hear about in the news? Where do you draw the line?

I heard, read or something, yesterday that Iraq requested drones to take out ISIS leaders and Obama refused.
You heard right. Requested as far back as Aug. '13 for drone strikes but got nada.

This is really a shitty thing to post. Even as an innerweb BS type post. It sucks really bad.
You haven't read this girl's posts then, if you think this is bad.
Just say 'Berghdahl' if you want some truly precious gems from her.

Who the frick are you to determine what anyone replies to? That is silliness. the entire board is based upon replying to posts we agree AND disagree with.

The point wasn't whether you were serious or not. The fact that you can post something that obscene, if only to start a politard pep-rally of Obama haters going, speaks volumes of your character

Be fair, part of it is they don't want to prop up Mailiki, and we shouldn't. He is just Iran's pawn in all of this.

Ok well what makes you think this threat is so much more serious than any other threat right now?

How many threats have we gotten lately?

Is this a wake up call?
To be honest, there are a lot of foreign people who wouldn't mind seeing the president dead. It doesn't mean we have to roll in troops and have Americans die in some god forsaken sand pit.

Those diffuse threats translate into literally thousands of tips about terrorism threats every day. In 2010, the FBI’s online tip line alone received an average of 700 messages a day. Then there are the tips from people calling in to local authorities, walking into embassies to make a report, and, of course, the “chatter” we’ve been hearing about in announcements about the weekend’s embassy closings. All told, the National Counterterrorism Center gets about 8,000-10,000 potential threats a day.

It's funny because, I quoted someone. Yet, not a damn one of you said a word to HIM about it.
Carry on....
You're entitled to your opinions, as am I. I won't lose a bit of sleep over it.

Very disappointing. I wish we Americans were a more loyal people. Our national ideals shouldn't shift with party. Or for any other reason that we needn't broach.

it matters because some on here are so over the moon angry and delusional that they would be okay with terrorists killing our president.
They aren't "over the moon" anything. They are who/what they are.

To be fair, I said they can have him. I can only hope they would take him and make him their newfound leader. If that were to occur, ISIS/ ISIL would be would immediately be irrelevant and there would be nothing to see.
I'm not advocating the death of an American POTUS by any means. I'm also not advocating the death of America with him in power, which is why I'm ok with them having him.
