Well I am doing it mainly for health reasons but you do not think a person can abstain from meat because they think it is morally wrong?

Right, because the moral aspect in based in a false ideal, that we kill animals for food. No, we kill animals for everything. The only way it's a moral stand is if the person is truly interested in the extinction of mankind. Because that's the only way we can stop killing animals.

I don't get the morality aspect of it seeing as we are designed to consume meat. Our teeth are designed to chew it and our digestive system is designed to break it down. I would also like to see what peoples idea of a proper life for a farm animal would be. They are raised to die, so who cares what they are raised like. I mean I don't want someone torturing the cow, but I couldn't care less if it frolicked around in a meadow or not.

What's worse are the people who do eat meat, but think someone whose willing to gut an animal is some psycho redneck. People are too naive and stupid. That's why a lot of people are vegetarian in my opinion. Society has been separated from having to actually do things themselves for so long, that no one could imagine having to clean their own food. Not being familiar with it makes it barbaric. Then people have moral objections because they've been isolated from reality.

I do think our meat portions in meals are too large though. I'm trying to include more veggies and salads to balance out my diet, but not because there's anything wrong with eating meat.
