Not true. Land was purchased by Jews. Because I have serious doubts about your ability to find the information on your own, I have taken the liberty to provide you some assistance. It is really vicious to pay owners a price at which they are willing to sell.

Once the Arabs began a war to eliminate Israel and the Arabs vacated the land, whether voluntarily or involuntarily, getting it back was not a realistic outcome. Any significant dispossession of Arabs by Jewish settlers began in 1948 as a consequence of war against the Jews.
