You could look into the GeChic portable monitors. They used to make one that looked like a laptop, but had no computer in it. Just a screen, speakers and a battery. Lot cheaper than the laptop route

frick, you might as well considering the physical footprint that the xbox, laptop, and all the cables are going to take up. What's another few inches?
