this is really the fault of the tea party. if you can't control your message, its your problem not your competitors.

Politics is the selling of ideas. Its no different than selling tablets. Imagine if samsung said - we can't sell our tablets b.c apple says they suck. Would you laugh in their face? yes, you would.

What if samsung said we can't sell our tablets b.c the people that buy tablets are too stupid to realize that ours are better? Would you laugh in their face? You bet your arse you would.

But this is exactly what conservatives do, they blame others for their own deficiencies. What is amazing is these same people preach personal responsibility. its ridiculous.

to OP, the democratic party is ready to fracture but the current war in the GOP is holding them off. Once that settles, I see a full party re-alignment occuring (assuming the GOP actually does change)
