This or a Bimini twist off the main line. Depends on what I would be fishing for, but stand up gear, I will make my bimini over 30' long. Reason is that I found out fighting a big tuna and you have it at boat side ready for the gaff, I had them break off.
That long bimini lets you get a few raps on the reel and acts as a shock cord.
