Here is my list of RBS I would pick before/around CJ Spiller.

Rashad Jennings (3-down back with a beautiful playoff schedule)
Shane Vereen (Was fixing to explode last year before injury/splitting time)
Ben Tate (Injuries and potentially Terrance West)
Frank Gore (Talk of being phased out...for the 4th year in a row)
Toby Gerhart (Will get all the carries for a shitty team that may never see the goaline)
Trent Richardson (Avg. 2.9ypc in a colts uniform/Bradshaw/Ballard)

Obviously all the notes above, and any future notes, will be contingent upon training camp, which has to be one of the most exciting times for people that follow fantasy and create their boards during it all. Anyway, here is who I would pick over CJ Spiller. What do you think?

Standard Rankings
Rashad Jennings
Toby Gerhart
Frank Gore
Shane Vereen
CJ Spiller
Ben Tate
Trent Richardson

PPR Rankings
Rashad Jenningsa
Shane Vereen
Toby Gerhart
CJ Spiller
Frank Gore
Ben Tate
Trent Richardson

People are smoking crack

Spiller is better than all of those guys. By a lot, actually.

yeah, its kinda crazy how quickly people have given up on him

He was banged up most of last year, didnt have much of a passing game to take pressure off of the line... he was also super easy to prepare for. When he came in, teams knew the ball was going to him. He touched the ball on something like 65% of the plays he was on the field for. The added WRs and TE should open up the offense for EJ, and make some space for the RBs. Brown and Dixon dont bother me much

He'll finish as a top 10 RB this year IMO...

Rashad Jenning is becoming the most overrated RB this year. Reminds me of Chris Ivory hype last year.

David Wilson has been medically cleared. Yes, he sucked last season (the OL is also the worst in football) but he was 5th in the NFL in all purpose yards with almost 2k in 2012 (ESPN).

You are looking at a 50/50 timeshare here more than likely

Before you answer this, remember that he went to Liberty. Strike one.

One talent and potential, he triumphs all of those guys. On production and given the fact I've owned him for several years, he deserves a punch in the face and kick in the nads.

I couldn't pick any those guys before him. At the same time, I hope someone else picks him so I won't be put in that situation.

wilson looked terrible before the serious neck injury, yeah he's been medically cleared but to pencil him in as a 50/50 timeshare at this point is bold.

and when we're talking value I think I can wait, draft someone else, and get similar production from vereen in a ppr. Bryce Brown looming also just makes the bills rb picture even murkier.

on that list i like Ben Tate and Trent Richardson the best. I think Richardson rebounds & Tate finally gets a full load of carries. He's a decent pass catcher too

tate hasn't been able to stay healthy as a back up and really didn't look all that great when he got his shot to be the #1 last year. Now he's in Cleveland.

Richardson will be interesting though. The talent is there and there really isn't any threat to take his carries away if he doesn't produce.

They have Andre Williams in NYG as well. Just a cloudy situation.

Marronne is already talking about feeding spiller again too

RB is a fricking mess this year, if I can't get a hold of Charles, Shady, Peterson, or Forte I'm just going to go for quantity in the later rounds
