i'm not saying he would be better off being obese and risking sleep apnea, but i can't imagine all of the oxygen necessary at all moments to maintain those muscles PLUS the exertion necessary to build/maintain them, will be net positive
if he has a heart condition, he only has so many ticks of that heart. he'd be much better off doing super runner/cardio and getting that heart rate down. i just can't imagine anearobic strain is healthy on a faulty ticker
