palestine hides behind international organizations to protect it. israel uses power to enforce its will within its borders. it's kind of like the "hope in one hand and shite in the other and see what fills up first" example.

This is what I dislike so much, the blatant collectivism and reversal of argument to defend Israel.
When Hamas launches a rocket into Israel it is terrorism, fine.
When the IDF snipes a child it's collateral damage and war is hell.
This child was not "Palestine", this child is not "hiding behind international organizations to protect it".
(And even if this didn't happen, which is likely, people still use those arguments to justify it under the premise that it did happen).
