As a coach, I think TD understands what a media circus surrounding one person does to team cohesion and that's why he said what he did.

Agreed.
I have no issue with the statement or the sentiment. I get it.
But, let's PLEASE not suggest that Sams has no football accomplishments at all.

Rams better play Sam a lot during preseason so if Sam is released they have plenty of evidence that it was Sam's lack of skills rather than being gay or this thing could blow up.
