He said that the Russian Separatist are blocking the investigation, keeping people from getting to the evidence and this gives off the implication that they are guilty. He implored them to allow for a full and thorough investigation.
Is it just my irony meter or does this sound strange coming from the mouth of an administration that's blocked every investigation into its own scandals?

ironic if there are any scandals that were directed by and covered up by Obama.

Exactly what I thought when I heard the clip on the radio a few minutes ago. I immediately wondered how he would spin the IRS lost hard drives after saying this.
