i heard they were moving the entire building staff from the Essen office to texas, to make room for more project managers/engineers for the upcoming boom in the area

I think you are incorrect sir. If I remember the article correctly it was overhead stuff like hr and marketing.

If you are able to move, that would be a huge upgrade to move to The Woodlands.
