There is no genetic evidence whatsoever for a unique species commonly referred to as the red wolf.

Have seen a black yote a few times over the past couple years near the house. Almost hit him one morning as he was trotting across the road with either a squirrel or a rat in his mouth.

SOB was solid black from head to tail. Been trying to tell people that and no-one I know of has ever seen a solid black one other than myself

Many years ago I killed two that were black. Though they were cross breeds of a coyote and a dog. There was a pack of them hunting in a open field chasing something.
