It's a completely bogus to say we haven't seen these guys play. Prep footage matters. Why do you think everyone is LF7 crazy.

True, we haven't seen some of these guys play on Sat, but to pretend as though you can't see talent and potential from prep footage is a bogus arguement.

I can watch tape, and tell you that Diarse has no shot of keeping Quin off of the field.

Welters Prep footage is decent.
His play on the field has proven to be sub standard for a team seeking a top flight defense. One poster broke down his stats, and quite frankly, his lack of playmaking ability, TFL's, FF's, INT's, PD's, and solo tackles are pretty hard to argue against.

Maybe you think Hilliard is better than Fournette because Fournette hasn't played yet.

So a ranter watching tape is a lot better judge of talent than a position coach/HC/coordinator who sees said player every day live in practice, studies film of his practices by the hours, knows the player personally & professionally from a football perspective: he busts his arse every play, he KNOWS the plays, works hard to improve, etc. As this thread is bout Welters, I'll let Chief do his job with full faith that he knows what the hell he is doing. I rather doubt he's keeping a "substandard" player on the field. Idoublea, please go back to coaching your son's peewee team & let the professionals do their job.
