It may knock out some of the discussion but not everyone likes to analyze the minutia of every episode.
Some shows, I like to pick to death some I prefer to binge.
I always wait for the season to end for Boardwalk Empire then binge it. This show is pretty straight forward and doesn't need any analysis.
I also like to wait until the end of the season for GOT but that has become impossible because new sites love to put spoilers in the damn headlines.
Lost was a great show to chat about each week, but I also love being able to watch the whole show without the excruciating wait.
I don't think it harms our enjoyment but it certainly is killing the bottom line of content providers when nobody watches the show on the original broadcast date.
