This 100x. The AMA greatly restricts med school classes and the number of med schools in order to maintain very high salaries. They have vision and have stuck to their plan of keeping doctor salaries inflated. The ABA lets any university set up a lawschool and lets lawschools admit an absurd number of people. The ABA has no vision and has allowed the profession to become so oversaturated that salaries no longer cover student loans.

Finally the state bar exams are too easy. Everyone eventually passes and practices.
