MLS started to move toward academy development before we hired Klinnsmann. We put two Academy products in this World Cup. Yedlin and Honduras' Najar.

The rise of US Soccer is a total team effort from the federation, not one man's revolution. How many Germans think Jurgen was responsible for this world cup victory? Probably less than there should be. But they aren't being as unreasonable as American soccer fans are.

Not saying he's solely responsible but he has the ideas and knows the process that can be imitated here. Or just about anywhere really. That's the whole reason I wanted him in the first place. To bring ideas to help change the set up here.
