They may have gone overboard with him killing other apes but I was accepting of it. It's not like Koba was the most peaceful ape in the first movie

What shift was there? All Koba saw was things that justified his beliefs, and when he saw that Caesar would never go along with his beliefs no matter what evidence was presented before him, he eliminated him and tried to become leader. I don't think Koba developed all that much, he just forced the other Apes to see the world as he sees it.

Lol, It doesn't always take years for a psychological shift. That's an incredibly ignorant statement.



Hell you could make the argument it did take years since it started from past experineces with the humans. Once he went through with his plan that involved killing Ceasar (he believed he did), it would not be far fetched to say that he would try to kill other apes whose views didn't align with his.
