He had an incredible run against Ole Miss in Jackson one night. He scored a touchdown from about nine yards out, but there's no telling how many yards he actually covered with all the back & forth, starts & stops. He was something to watch.

One of the most exciting short-yardage runs I ever saw, and my favorite Sammy Martin highlight.

It's toward the end of this package, but the whole thing is short, and worth watching.

I remember that run.

At one point it was like watching when a pro surfer gets swallowed up by the wave but then pops out from underneath it and keeps on going.

Sammy was a great athlete.
