I just love how the opposition to the fence is the cost to build, maintain, and monitor.
It's almost as if the liberals really believe it's cheaper to let south America's poorest flood into the U.S.
You have to be either intellectually dishonest, stupid, or the perfect combination of both.

I lean left on many issues, but not this one.
3.7B is just to process these immigrants, but as others have mentioned, many will become a permanent drain on the social network so theres a recurring cost every year for every single one of them.
No way youre going to convince me that a two-deep fence is more expensive even with a maintenance.
Its a fixed finite cost, and not dictated by factors outside of our control, such as how many immigrants arrive on busses.

If a nation can't maintain and defend its borders, you no longer have a real nation. You just wind up with a line on a map.
