As long as people have different goals management will struggle. Some want to fill a freezer, some just want any buck and others want to grow big ones. The last is the hardest to accommodate.
The truth is there will never be a perfect set of regs. The three point rule is great but has flaws, mostly some old forkhorns. Spread restrictions allow some beauties to walk. Age can be tough to judge, etc.

Yea the 3 point is the easiest on hunters and which is why I think its the only one that is fair for being a state wide restriction. The tougher restrictions can be implemented in the better public areas in the state. Another think that they could do with the bigger WMAs is have half with the tougher restriction and the other with the 3 side rule.
