While I understand what DWSFTs I still think it would be beneficial for there to be some type of restrictions. Nothing to complicated, I think 3 on one side would be a decent state mandate. However concerning public land I think there should diff be some tougher restrictions especially in the better areas of the state. Say St. Landry north through the river parishes.

As long as people have different goals management will struggle. Some want to fill a freezer, some just want any buck and others want to grow big ones. The last is the hardest to accommodate.

The truth is there will never be a perfect set of regs. The three point rule is great but has flaws, mostly some old forkhorns. Spread restrictions allow some beauties to walk. Age can be tough to judge, etc.
