You're still assuming we're shooting the first buck we see
If I see a good young breeder buck, I let him walk. If I see a perfect 8pt breeder, more often than not, I'll let him walk. There really isn't a method to what I shoot, it's just whatever I feel needs to be taken out of the herd.
As far as does go....I haven't ever been anywhere that wasn't overrun by them. I don't discriminate
