I thought LSU owned the land near the casino that needed to be annexed for the casino to be annexed? Anybody have a map of the 630 acres the article is referencing?

Some folks named Lambert own the land. I'm sure this is a quid pro quo kind of deal.

As I posted on the poli-board, the 630 acres is owned by Charles Lambert. He has tried for more than 10 years to get a casino permit, even sued.

Now, his land has become priceless to BR because it could be used to connect to lauberge. Suddenly, he desires for BR to annex his property. Dirty shite is going down.

Oh, and for tax purposes, his land is currently valued at $83 an acre. Riiiiight.
