I figure my pay will go up with inflation, so I'm not concerned if that number needs to grow. I'm just going off of what costs are now. If I can afford it now, I figure I can afford it in 5-10 years when I'll need to pay it as hopefully I'll be making more.
And I would say the average school in NOLA is between 8-9k. Not just the cheapest ones.
