I lost three friends/acquaintances to motorcycle accidents in a one year span back in the early 2000's. All were far more experienced riders than me. I sold my bike shortly thereafter and havent been on a motorcycle since. Prayers sent...

Lost a friend with 2 young kids a few years back in Slidell. He was on a sport bike and had no business being on that type of bike. I preferred keeping it on the track.

I met up with my best friend growing up. As i lit a cigarette,(i know trashy)he says you know thats going to kill you one day. I said yep and pointed to his bike and said that will too , he agreed. A month later he got killed on his bike on 90 by Le Triomphe . I wish i was wrong. We all are going to die one day , we choose what dangers in life to take. He died doing what he loved to do ,going too fast . It's sucks to remember those were the last words i told him. He knew one day his need to go fast would catch up with him.

same exact thing happened to a buddy of mine in 2006. We lost him three days later. It's still sad.
