If you're serious and actually start watching more matches you'll almost certainly change your mind just like almost every other person who does so. You'll no longer be as solely focused on scoring but on all the aspects of the game.

You'll also see that the WC is the greatest sporting event in the world due to the fanfare, passion and what it means to players and entire countries to do well but that it's really not quite the quality game that you'll see being played by the top clubs that play together all the time.
