it's NOT tacky if you are taking honey moon donations in lieu of registering for gifts.

I think they are both tacky.

I was on the fence about honeymoon registries......so we didn't do one.

How is a regular registry tacky? It's expected that a couple be registered someplace.

Did you raise enough money on Kickstarter for your swinger trip to Tahoe?

I just have a problem with asking people for gifts.

Why the frick would anyone donate to a moocher?

Dead serious, I would throw money off my balcony before donating to someone on that site.

Same here, Byte.

I am old school though. The amount of people who have now qualms about asking for gifts, handouts, etc now days is alarming.

But it's a wedding. People usually bring gifts to a wedding. Some may not want to just give money. Many like buying something off a registry(women). It gives them an idea of what the couple needs/wants.

I don't think any couple does a registry actually expecting to get all the gifts they have on it.

But registering for gifts and then asking for honey moon cash,

Older generations don't believe in this. Instead we got 5 new pizza cutters, 3 can openers and 3 sets of measuring cups.

How do people think I made it through single life without a pizza cutter or can opener.

Don't pizza deliveries cut their own pizzas?

Sometimes adults make their own homemade pizza. I'd think you are above Pizza Hut.

Did y'all have a registry?

Our coolest gifts were those that bought us REI giftcards and backpacking gear off our REI registry.

We registered on Amazon. Just for cool things. We have everything we need. The best gifts were unregistered for. Like a quilt my great grandmother (RIP) made for me 28 years ago.

Why does REI suck?

Do you live by one? We shop there often.
