TWA Flight 800: Well, We'll Never Know For Sure

The petition was filed last summer by a group known as the TWA 800 Project in conjunction with the release of an Epix documentary that drew renewed attention to the high-profile accident. The documentary features NTSB and TWA investigators who allege the airplane was shot down by Navy missiles, as opposed to experiencing an explosion in the center fuel tank, as the NTSB said in its final report.

A plane exploded in midair and crashed into the ocean at night, with the debris sinking several hundred feet to the bottom.
It's kinda tough to piece that crime scene together with any kind of certainty. And after 18 years there probably isn't much point in trying to.

Pierre Salinger, JFK's press secretary watched it happen. I think he was in Cape Cod. He saw the missile vapor trail and the impact..... google it... think he moved to Paris after this because everyone thought he was a making it up.

Someone shot it down to kill his nagging wife who was gonna take everything in the divorce. Sources say...or I made it up, same thing.
