Hugo scores just as Tunnicliffe nets an equalizer for Blackburn

AH PRAISE JEBUS, A WIN! And we were always most likely to score the next goal and had several chances. Great stuff in the second half.

Two wins in the same week. It's like a weekend pass out of hell.

Mr. Khan names Manager Search Committee
The five include two former Fulham players, a former Premier League player and manager as well as a "fan."
The "fan" is David Daly of Nike
Danny Murphy and Brian McBride.
Niall Quinn and
Huw Jennings.
Interesting, I kind of like the makeup of the committee, especially McBride. Murphy is interesting as he may be angling for this job, himself, at some point.
quote:
Chairman Shahid Khan today named a five-person search committee to provide guidance and leadership in identifying and reviewing candidates to serve as the next First Team Manager of Fulham Football Club.
Khan said two weeks ago that he will lead the search and ultimately appoint the position, but would seek counsel from qualified football people from within, close to or outside the Fulham organisation. In the case of all five committee members, knowledge of and respect for the traditions and standards of Fulham was a must for consideration.
“I’ve got the right five men to help us find the right man for Fulham,” Khan said. “They each bring something similar, and yet unique, to the search. They understand what we want to achieve and they’re committed to the process. And they very much respect Fulham. They know this is a special job for a manager and they want to play a role in making sure we get this right for everyone who plays for Fulham or loves the Club. And we will.”

Including McBride, a club legend, in the process is going to give it some validity with the fans. But your point about Murph is valid. I think he's flat out said at some point he wants to manage Fulham.

Back to the games. FFC v Norwich. Big big game at the Cottage. I smell 3 points in our future.
Bettinelli; Hoogland, Bodurov, Burn, Kavanagh; Parker; Christensen, Stafylidis; Ruiz; McCormack, Rodallega
Fulham substitutes: Kiraly, Hutchinson, Zverotic, Hyndman, Roberts, G.Williams, Dembélé

Winning is good, though we had to scrape through that second half.
Wonder if the bookies still tip Hughton for the job now.

Did Hyndman see any time?

Played injury time in the second half

Why can't he get more minutes?

Christensen has been playing pretty darn well lately, so I'm not surprised he isn't starting. Plus, Kit knows the young players better than anyone. It's a long season and doesn't want to burn him out. Wouldn't be surprised to see Hyndman get more action on Tuesday.

What a nice result, the lads are really playing for Kit, it seems. Makes sense to me, really, as many of them are "his" players. They know what to expect from him, and he certainly knows what they can do.
Another win or two and any OTHER decision by the committee will be greeted with scorn. Kit and the lads are making the case for him to get the job.

I would like to think that barring a "dumpster fire" type performance at Rotherham tomorrow, he's in good shape. Like you said, for the first time all season the players are giving it their all. They had to fight and scrap for those points yesterday, something we haven't seen them do much at all this season.

What time is the game tomorrow, and is there any chance of there being a stream?
Also, I bought Dembele on my fifa manager mode and he's a beast. I also bought Roberts but I'm still trying to figure out how best to use him.

I think all the games are 1:45 CT tomorrow. Have been searching around for a feed but so far unsuccessful.

I suppose coming from behind 3 times to secure a point away from home is not a bad result at all, though Fulham definitely have the squad to beat a team like Rotherham.
Great fight again from the boys even though the defending was a little sloppy today. Shouldn't set back Kit's quest for the job at all. Great to see Eisfeld get a start. He's been doing good things with the U21s this season.
Quick turnaround, but a big game at the Cottage on Friday against Charlton. 3 games in 7 days...yikes. This is why you don't get relegated.
