What about keeping the COX internet and switching to the U-Verse cable? I have COX right now (cable,internet,land line) and paying anywhere from $180-$200/month

That's what I do. U-verse U300 TV and Cox Internet Premier. Not necessarily cheaper, but I wanted the best of both. U-verse TV > Cox TV and Cox Internet > U-Verse Internet.
