Phil Hartman was out of the blue. Easily more shocking than the drug heads that everyone knew they had drug problems.

Murphy was shocking and there continues to be some suspicion to the cause of her death.

Payne Stewart is another good choice.

Those 3 would be the most shocking.

Wasn't she murdered?

This is what her father is claiming, as the testing performed last year showed multiple types of toxic metals (e.g. rat poison) were found in her. Sounds considerably different then dying of pneumonia as the initial reports suggested.

Brandon Lee - damn. Linda's been through enough shite, m'kay God?

Steve Irwin - killed by a croc, not as shocking. But by a fricking stingray. frick.

Yeah I didn't even think that could happen. Plus to happen to him. Seems like a lot of people thought he was reckless with the way he handled animals but to me he always seemed to know what he was doing even though it seemed crazy to those without his experience. Also compounding the shock was thinking about the effect of the loss on Terri and Bendi.
