I know it sounds like bullshite but from all accounts its legit. Different news agencies have done stories on it and there is no way to turn around on that stretch of road after a certain point. You have to enter Mexico to turn around. He probably got to that point and figure it wouldn't be a big deal if he just crossed the border and turned around. Did he break the law, absolutely no denying that. But you would think all things considered the Mexicans would have just released him. No, they have him chained up and subject him to daily beatings. This is unacceptable and we should send in a extraction team immediately.

It's time to return the illegal immigrants and cut all financial aid to Mexico. Pronto.

I can't say that I agree with the extraction team, although I am getting to that point. I will have a more definite opinion after Wednesday.

But we sure in the hell are in a position that we can demand his release. Torture is unacceptable. And he was being tortured. Thankfully a Mexican atty has taken the case and at least got him moved to a better prison.

Eta: And I'm still about the "armed to a tee" comment.

Why?

If a mexican soldier rolled across the border with this many weapons...he's sure as hell be in jail.

For you guys to think anything else is...well...par for the course.

Thanks OBama!
