~$60k is what I think will be my floor for the first year.

They will reimburse up to $2k in moving expenses.

But I will now have to factor in rent, since where I'm at now is where I grew up.

30,000 year in bonuses and 60,000 base salary?

that's a hell of a bonus percentage

I don't get the math. 30k min in bonus, and 10k in extra salary. Were you making 20k base? If so I wouldn't move anywhere for a 30k base.

Just $2k for moving? We moved a campus director of student finance from WA to Jackson, MS and it ran us $14k. It was only he and his wife.

I'd stay put. You'll miss the sun, trust me. There should be plenty of opportunities and better deals if you're good at what you do.
