So, Barton came out with an article on him a few days back.

Reid will be on team Apocalypse at the opening and will be interesting to watch.

HUDL highlights

Barton seems to think Reid is one of the bigger sleepers in this class...

quote:

Sleeper: Justin Reid. This kid has it all: great film, good size, athleticism, grades, bloodlines (younger brother of Eric Reid). After The Opening he’ll be a national name.

Regardless of Bartow, the kid should get an offer.

Reid is a solid player, and he'll be the anchor on Dutchtown's secondary which is going to be awesome this year. He's got decent size, and he's certainly got his brother's knack for laying the wood. So much so that he often gets flagged for it, or gets viewed as a dirty player. He's started at S since he was a sophomore. Excited to see his development this year

I wasn't impressed by his film but he may be a late bloomer. Think he has a good chance at an offer later in his senior year if he shows out at camp and performs on the field.

With some of the other DBs LSU is going after I really don't see him getting an offer unless they don't get a few of the guys they want. Jamal Peters is a take no matter what happens. If Donte Jackson wants in at CB, Xavier Lewis will be slotted for Safety. Deshawn Raymond seems to be a take, he could also play CB or S while LSU is still waiting to see how things play out with Tarvarus McFadden, Roney Elam, and Ronnie Harrison.

Would you say the order of importance is 1. Jamal peters/Travrous McFadden 2. Donte Jackson 3. Raymond?

Is do the being recruited to play CB or WR?
