Loston. I will miss his arse-busting hits. Unfortunately, many of his hits hurt him instead of the opposition...

Chad Jones had one memorable hit.

Ware from the RB was just a bull. In the last 20 years maybe only Dominck Davis was tougher to bring down.

For me though the guy who stands out as a consistent hard hitter was Ryan Baker. He might not have had the one or two memorable big hits that many of the safeties mentioned did, but he was never afraid to stick his nose in the play and knock someone on their arse

Toefield laid the wood at RB and so did the bruiser. But hardest hitter and it's not even close is Laron Landry.

Dude always hit people hard, but the correct answer is Laron Landry
That's all he ever wanted to do was just kill somebody

I think it's out of Leron Landry and Craig Loston, but they were safeties always hitting people. Now Spencer Ware and JC Copeland punished people out the backfield, but the two most memorable hits just a player laying wood is Jarvis Landry's hits on special teams in the Auburn game!

The people that didn't follow LSU until a few years ago should be the only ones stupid enough not to say LaRon Landry.

Laron Landry by far. Anyone remember him hitting Brodie Croyle on a safety blitz and knocking him back to kindergarten? Did the same to John Parker Wilson the next year. Youtube some of his highlight hits..... brutal

Jarvis Landry
Chad jones

I remember the camera showing Harry Coleman on the sideline against South Carolina the year we won the bcs title and thinking,"That guy might have a few screws loose..."

He had just blown somebody up and was flashing all kinds of signs and was sporting the gold tooth

I loved Reid, but other than the hit against MSU, I never really thought of him as a hard hitter. Maybe I'm just remembering him wrong. So I'll go with Landry.

You really need to watch games closer. He body slammed the hell out of one guy. Go watch one of his highlight vids for reference.

Defense no order
Chad Jones (DoD, Still remember that "Boom, Headshot!")
Laron Landry
Craig Loston (just about all he did do lol)
Eric Reid
Craig Steltz (watching old replays this guy knocked the fire out of a lot of fools)
Ryan Baker (widowmaker, he almost sent a lot of QBs to heaven)
Kevin Minter

Offense no order
Spencer Ware (violence incarnate)
Jarvis Landry (special teams head hunter)
JC Copeland (rolling ball of hate, piss, and frickery. Guaranteed to frick up yo day)
Jacob Hester (ran straight through a couple guys in 2007)
