I like the location
I'm sure its not a major thing, but is there any concern over the extra rain water that will be directed from the roof into the pool?

Planning on draining my ice maker into the pool.
Roof will probably be tin or metal to eliminate granules from asphalt roof getting in the pool.
Also, I will install gutters as well.
