Victor's egg, bacon, and cheese sandwhich is probably my favorite breakfast item.

Café Des Ami on Main Street. If you want Mexican and strong margaritas try Tampico's. Clementine's Bon Creole, Victor's, Little River Inn, and Landry's as many have mentioned. Also give Boiling Point and Seafood Connection a try.

Lunch Bon Creole or Cafe Jefferson at Rip Van Winkle if you have time

I'm glad to hear that Victor's is still there. That was the go to place for my 2 old Taunts before they passed. They never married and were too old to cook. Victor's was a block away from their house on Main Street. Very close to The Shadows.

I was born and raised in N.I. Last time I went back was 10 years ago. Tried to find the house I was born in. Very depressing. Got lost in my old neighborhood. You can't go back home again.
