You guys saying 650-700 might be underachieving


I was cooking steaks the other night and my infrared which goes up to 800 degrees said error when I shot the grates

The hair on my arms said it was around 900

I can get my temp a full 360 on the BGE thermometer. Id say about 1050 or so

did steaks last night and really dont see how or why i could get the grill any hotter

I had it up over 700 before cooking Sunday night...burp it so you don't burn your hair off
