Why not just carry a Glock in 9mm from the get-go? This has potential to be exploited by a lawyer if you use it in self-defense. "This round is more lethal and not designed for this gun!" "This man wanted a barrel in his gun that could kill better!"

I guess I could be exaggerating but it's a possibility.

My M&P core is more fun to shoot with the 9mm barrel but it says "40" on the side, so that is the barrel that sits in it on a daily basis.
