I pulled up most of it after a rain when I could get the roots up. The few I missed and some dandelions you can't get up by the roots, I came back and sprayed round up on.

And when I say acute, I mixed my spray in a windex bottle, parted the grass and sprayed 1 spritz per clump.
It still killed a spot about the size of a salad plate with some St. Aug. colateral damage, but it covered itself within a couple of months.
