Last night's episode was fantastic IMO. Even though it's only three episodes in, the first two didn't really give the audience anyone to really connect with, just a cop who has a wife and son at two opposite ends and a daughter who is going through the same thing as her father but coping differently. It's interesting but there's no empathy there. Last night I had to shut my eyes while the priest was gambling because I really did not want to see him lose. Then when the thugs tried to steal his money he did what I hoped he would do and smashed that dude's head in. But it was kinda cliche to see the whole incorruptible become corrupt.
